Technical Requirements: • Primary skills:Technology->Data on Cloud-DataStore->Snowflake Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: Snowflake Platform Engineering • Design, implement, and maintain Snowflake environments including warehouses, databases, schemas, roles, and resource monitors. • Optimize query performance and warehouse sizing through workload analysis, clustering strategies, and best-practice tuning. • Implement secure access controls using RBAC, ensuring least-privilege access and audit-friendly governance. • Monitor platform health, usage, and cost; recommend improvements to balance performance and spend. Data Transformation with dbt • Build and maintain dbt models, tests, and documentation to deliver reliable, analytics-ready datasets. • Establish modular transformation patterns (staging, intermediate, marts) and enforce consistent naming/versioning standards. • Implement data quality checks using dbt tests and support root-cause analysis for data issues.
