Fabrication Associate
Job Description
This position is responsible for the custom designing, forming, cutting, sharpening, piercing, welding and/or the painting of fabricated materials for the use in a final product and training/cross-training associates in the Fabrication Area. Forms, cuts, and pierces metal to form fabricated assembly housing units. Performs a variety of operations including Cutting, Piercing, Forming, etc. Utilizes a wide variety of hand tools, air tools, and measuring equipment. Operates moderately complex to very complex fabrication machinery, using digital/electronic controls. Establishes and maintains a safe and healthy working environment in accordance with OSHA requirements. Education and Experience Requirements (including licenses and certifications): Read and understand moderately complex assembly drawings, schematics, bill of materials. Ability to work independently. May be required to have welding certification. May be required to move material within the group. Daily 5S is a requirement. Esta
