The team helps strengthen the cyber resilience of the digital services relied on by Veterans, their families, and the VA workforce.</p> <p>9th Way Insignia is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to support this program. This position is contingent upon contract award.</p> <h3>Professional Level</h3> <p>E3 – Engineer</p> <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Define and assess enterprise security architectures that support Zero Trust, cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.</li> <li>Develop architecture roadmaps, reference patterns, security requirements, and transition plans.</li> <li>Analyze system designs, integrations, data flows, identity patterns, and control dependencies for security and interoperability risks.</li> <li>Advise technical teams and leadership on security architecture decisions, tradeoffs, and remediation priorities.</li> <li>Produce architecture diagrams, design documentation, and executive-ready briefings.</li> </ul> <h3>Requirements</h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.</li> <li>Ten or more years of enterprise security architecture, systems architecture, or cybersecurity engineering experience.</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge of Zero Trust, identity and access management, network segmentation, cloud security, and security frameworks such as NIST and RMF.</li> <li>Experience designing or evaluating security architecture in a large enterprise or Government environment.</li> <li>Ability to communicate complex architecture decisions clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$98,135</span><span class="divider">—</span><span>$150,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>9th Way Insignia’s range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
