The team helps strengthen the cyber resilience of the digital services relied on by Veterans, their families, and the VA workforce.</p> <p>9th Way Insignia is seeking a Cybersecurity Data Analyst (CDM) to support this program. This position is contingent upon contract award.</p> <h3>Professional Level</h3> <p>E2 – Engineer</p> <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Analyze cybersecurity and continuous-diagnostics data to identify vulnerabilities, control gaps, asset issues, and risk trends.</li> <li>Validate data quality, normalize findings, reconcile asset and vulnerability records, and support reporting accuracy.</li> <li>Develop dashboards, recurring reports, and data-driven recommendations for remediation and risk prioritization.</li> <li>Coordinate with system owners, security teams, and operations teams to resolve data discrepancies and verify remediation status.</li> <li>Document analytical methods, data definitions, assumptions, and results.</li> </ul> <h3>Requirements</h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, data analytics, information systems, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.</li> <li>Four or more years of cybersecurity analysis, vulnerability management, continuous diagnostics and mitigation, data analysis, or related experience.</li> <li>Experience working with asset, vulnerability, configuration, compliance, or security-event data.</li> <li>Ability to analyze data sets, identify trends and discrepancies, and communicate actionable findings.</li> <li>Experience with reporting, dashboarding, spreadsheets, SQL, or comparable data-analysis tools.</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$78,522</span><span class="divider">—</span><span>$110,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>9th Way Insignia’s range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
