The team helps strengthen the cyber resilience of the digital services relied on by Veterans, their families, and the VA workforce.</p> <p>9th Way Insignia is seeking a Cybersecurity Systems Architect to support this program. This position is contingent upon contract award.</p> <h3>Professional Level</h3> <p>E3 – Engineer</p> <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Design system and integration architectures for secure data exchange, APIs, applications, platforms, and operational services.</li> <li>Define interface patterns, system requirements, data flows, integration standards, and implementation guidance.</li> <li>Evaluate architecture alternatives for security, scalability, reliability, performance, and operational supportability.</li> <li>Coordinate with architects, developers, cybersecurity engineers, and business stakeholders during design and delivery.</li> <li>Produce architecture diagrams, interface specifications, integration plans, and technical decision records.</li> </ul> <h3>Requirements</h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.</li> <li>Eight or more years of systems engineering, integration architecture, software architecture, or enterprise application integration experience.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience with APIs, integration patterns, data flows, cloud or hybrid architectures, and secure system design.</li> <li>Experience translating business and technical requirements into implementable architecture and interface specifications.</li> <li>Strong architecture documentation, analysis, and stakeholder communication skills.</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$98,135</span><span class="divider">—</span><span>$130,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>9th Way Insignia’s range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
