The team helps strengthen the cyber resilience of the digital services relied on by Veterans, their families, and the VA workforce.</p> <p>9th Way Insignia is seeking a Cybersecurity Tools Engineer to support this program. This position is contingent upon contract award.</p> <h3>Professional Level</h3> <p>E3 – Engineer</p> <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Engineer, configure, integrate, and sustain cybersecurity tools that support detection, prevention, vulnerability management, configuration management, and compliance.</li> <li>Develop tool implementation plans, configuration standards, operating procedures, and technical documentation.</li> <li>Integrate tool data with security operations, asset-management, ticketing, reporting, and continuous-monitoring processes.</li> <li>Analyze tool performance, coverage gaps, alerts, and data quality; recommend improvements.</li> <li>Support upgrades, testing, troubleshooting, and operational handoff of security-tool capabilities.</li> </ul> <h3>Requirements</h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant technical experience.</li> <li>Five or more years of cybersecurity tool engineering, security operations, systems administration, or related technical experience.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with one or more tool categories such as SIEM, vulnerability management, endpoint detection and response, identity management, security configuration management, or GRC platforms.</li> <li>Experience integrating tools, analyzing security data, and documenting technical configurations and procedures.</li> <li>Strong troubleshooting, automation, and technical documentation skills.</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$98,135</span><span class="divider">—</span><span>$125,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>9th Way Insignia’s range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
