Electrical Calibration Technician (Tescom)

<div> <p>Tescom, an Accredited Labs company, is seeking an experienced <strong>Electrical Calibration Technician</strong> to join our Austin laboratory. This is a <strong>hands-on technical role</strong> for a calibration professional who enjoys solving complex measurement problems, working independently, and strengthening RF and electrical calibration capabilities.</p> <p>You’ll work in a quality-driven environment supporting a wide range of customers and industries across Central Texas. This role offers technical variety, advanced instrumentation, and the opportunity to directly contribute to growing our RF and high-accuracy electrical scope.</p> <h3>What You’ll Be Doing</h3> <ul> <li>Calibrate, adjust, and troubleshoot <strong>RF, microwave, and electronic test equipment</strong></li> <li>Perform calibrations on: <ul> <li>Signal generators</li> <li>Spectrum analyzers</li> <li>Oscilloscopes</li> <li>Power meters</li> <li>Frequency counters</li> </ul> </li> <li>Execute precision electrical calibrations on meters, sources, multifunction calibrators, and bench equipment</li> <li>Perform work in compliance with <strong>ISO/IEC 17025</strong>, <strong>ANSI/NCSL Z540.3</strong>, internal procedures, and customer requirements</li> <li>Evaluate out-of-tolerance conditions, measurement anomalies, and equipment performance issues</li> <li>Maintain accurate calibration records and technical documentation</li> <li>Support productivity, turnaround time, and quality goals</li> <li>Assist with procedure improvements and expanded technical capabilities</li> <li>Perform occasional <strong>local or regional same-day site visits</strong> as business needs require</li> </ul> <h3>Equipment & Experience We Value</h3> <ul> <li>Strong RF instrumentation background (required)</li> <li>Experience with equipment from <strong>Keysight / Agilent / HP, Rohde & Schwarz, Tektronix, and Fluke</strong></li> <li>Background in a <strong>commercial calibration lab</strong>, <strong>military metrology</strong>, <strong>PMEL</strong>, or <strong>TMDE</strong> environment is highly valued</li> <li>Solid understanding of uncertainty, traceability, and accredited quality systems</li> </ul> <h3>What We’re Looking For</h3> <ul> <li><strong>2+ years</strong> of relevant calibration experience preferred</li> <li>Ability to troubleshoot independently and make sound technical decisions</li> <li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, quality-focused lab environment</li> <li>Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site customer support</li> <li>Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to high technical standards</li> </ul> <h3>Why Tescom?</h3> <ul> <li><strong>Lab-based role in Cedar Park, TX</strong> (limited travel)</li> <li>Technically challenging RF and electrical calibration work</li> <li>Opportunity to <strong>strengthen and expand RF capabilities</strong></li> <li>Stable environment backed by <strong>Accredited Labs</strong></li> <li>Team-oriented culture with room for technical growth </li> <li>Competitive compensation and based on experience, skill level, and technical depth</li> </ul> </div> <p><strong>About Us:</strong></p> <p>Accredited Labs is a trusted provider of accredited calibration services.
