We’re looking for a </em><strong><em>Warehouse Assistant Manager</em></strong><em> to help lead daily operations. </em></div> <div> </div> <div><em>This role is hands-on and leadership-driven—you’ll be responsible for keeping the warehouse running efficiently, ensuring accuracy, and supporting the team to get orders out the door the right way, every time.<br><br></em></div> <div><strong><u>HOURS:</u></strong> Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm<br><br><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>LOCATION</strong></span>: Schiller Park, Illinois<br><br></div> <div><strong><u>COMPENSATION:</u></strong> Base Salary + Benefits <br><br></div> <div><strong><u>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</u></strong></div> <ul> <li> <div>Oversee pulling and packaging teams to ensure orders are picked and shipped accurately and on time</div> </li> <li> <div>Manage receiving operations to ensure material is checked in and stocked efficiently</div> </li> <li> <div>Review pulling reports and address accuracy issues as needed</div> </li> <li> <div>Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment and vehicles</div> </li> <li> <div>Conduct and document monthly safety meetings</div> </li> <li> <div>Print and distribute order and shipping documents for warehouse processing</div> </li> <li> <div>Push completed orders through invoicing in the ERP system</div> </li> <li> <div>Coordinate freight pickups and communicate with carriers</div> </li> <li> <div>Inspect outgoing shipments and verify against documentation</div> </li> <li> <div>Assist with routing of local deliveries</div> </li> <li> <div>Operate a forklift to pick, transport, and package materials</div> </li> <li> <div>Maintain internal record-keeping systems</div> </li> <li> <div>Ensure proper packaging procedures for safe transport of materials</div> </li> <li> <div>Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse</div> </li> <li> <div>Provide tracking updates to the sales team</div> </li> <li> <div>Resolve delivery and shipping issues as they arise</div> </li> <li> <div>Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and ERP reconciliation</div> </li> <li> <div>Lead physical inventory processes</div> </li> <li> <div>Cross-train across all warehouse functions and drive process improvements</div> </li> </ul> <div><strong><u>SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:</u></strong></div> <ul> <li> <div>Previous warehouse and leadership experience required</div> </li> <li> <div>Forklift experience is a plus</div> </li> <li> <div>Clean driving record required</div> </li> <li> <div>Must be 20+ years old</div> </li> <li> <div>Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check</div> </li> <li> <div>Willing to travel to Houston, Texas, if necessary</div> </li> <li> <div>Strong attendance, punctuality and reliability (this is a big deal here)</div> </li> <li> <div>Ability to delegate, lead
