They are responsible for technical design oversight, build governance, code review, DevOps promotion, unit testing coordination, defect remediation, performance tuning, and release readiness. This resource will deliver technical designs, build/unit‑test evidence, code reviews, transport inputs, defect logs, performance notes, and KT/runbook inputs. Critical capabilities include ABAP, RAP, CDS, OData, Fiori extensibility, forms, enhancements, clean core principles, utilities data model expertise, and integration/conversion patterns.</p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead design, build, and test of SAP custom development and extensibility solutions on S/4HANA and BTP, primarily using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, Fiori, and Clean Core methodologies.</li> <li>Drive the transition from classic ABAP to Clean Core; guide custom-code remediation and released-API adoption.</li> <li>Own technical design for workstreams; conduct code reviews, architecture signoffs, and design workshops.</li> <li>Guide and mentor global delivery teams; communicate effectively across technical levels and geographies.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Here’s what you need:</strong></p> <ul> <li>7+ years of SAP ABAP Development experience</li> <li>Hands-on experience with ABAP Cloud/RAP (RESTful Application Programming)</li> <li>Clean Core Extensibility (4 levels) experience</li> <li>CDS Data Modeling (CDS/AMDP/OData) experience</li> <li>SAP Fiori/UI5 experience experience</li> <li>SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry & ABAP Environment) experience</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>SAP certification in ABAP Cloud, BTP (Developer or Solution Architect), or SAP Business AI/Generative AI</li> <li>Hands-on experience with SAP Build (Build Apps, Build Process Automation, Build Work Zone) and CAP (Node.js/Java)</li> <li>DevOps for SAP - Git-based transport/gCTS, CI/CD, and automated testing (e.g., ABAP Unit, ADT)</li> <li>Familiarity with SAP Business AI - Joule, Joule Studio, and Generative AI Hub grounding/RAG patterns</li> <li>Functional understanding of Utilities industry processes</li> </ul> <p><strong>Eligibility requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>U.S. Citizen (dual accepted)</li> <li>Must be eligible to obtain government clearance</li> </ul> <p> </p><div class="cont
