Recognized as a Glassdoor Top 100 Best Place to Work, we offer a collaborative and caring community where you feel like you belong and are empowered to grow, learn and thrive through hands-on experience, certifications, industry training and more. </div> <div> </div> <div>Join us to drive positive, lasting change that moves missions and the government forward!</div> <div> </div> </div></div><p><strong>The work:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Creating intuitive, accessible, and high-performing digital experiences that support enterprise and mission-critical applications.</li> <li>Lead user research, design workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems while collaborating closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders in Agile environments.</li> <li>Provide technical mentorship, drives UX process improvements, promotes design standardization, and ensures compliance with accessibility and security requirements.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Here’s what you need:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelors required</li> <li>8 years experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and design systems.</li> <li>Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design and enterprise application experience.</li> <li>Proficiency with design tools such as Figma or similar platforms.</li> <li>Knowledge of Human-Centered Design (HCD), usability testing, and accessibility standards.</li> <li>Experience working within Agile development environments.</li> <li>Portfolio of work samples.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Bonus points if you have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Psychology, or related field.</li> <li>Experience with the U.S. Web Design System (USWDS) or other enterprise design systems.</li> <li>Knowledge of Section 508, WCAG accessibility standards, and inclusive design principles.</li> <li>Experience supporting federal, defense, intelligence, or highly regulated environments.</li> <li>Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
