This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure for mission workloads in a fast-paced, agile environment, with room to grow into deeper platform and automation responsibilities over time. You will work within a small delivery team alongside Senior Cloud Engineers, Platform Engineers, and Security Engineers, executing infrastructure builds and operational tasks under an established architecture while building toward greater design ownership.</p> <p>The ideal candidate brings hands-on cloud engineering experience across any major provider and is comfortable operating in a centralized vision, decentralized command culture that emphasizes solution ownership and a fail-fast, fail-forward mindset.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do: </strong></p> <p><em>Cloud Infrastructure & Operations </em></p> <ul> <li>Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting mission-critical government workloads</li> <li>Implement Infrastructure as Code for consistent, repeatable deployments (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible)</li> <li>Configure and manage identity, access, networking, and security controls across cloud environments</li> <li>Support CI/CD pipeline operations and containerized workload deployment (Docker, Kubernetes)</li> </ul> <p><em>Operations & Incident Response </em></p> <ul> <li>Monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot incidents, and drive resolution across Tier 1, Tier 2, and select Tier 3 issues</li> <li>Respond to monitoring alerts and escalate complex problems with clear technical context</li> <li>Support patching cycles, baseline updates, and configuration management activities</li> </ul> <p><em>Security & Compliance Support </em></p> <ul> <li>Implement and maintain security controls, STIG compliance checks, and vulnerability remediation activities</li> <li>Support security audits and coordinate remediation with Security Engineering and ISSO teams</li> </ul> <p><em>Agile Delivery & Collaboration </em></p> <ul> <li>Operate within an Agile framework — participate in sprints, standups, and retrospectives</li> <li>Document infrastructure decisions, runbooks, and operational procedures</li> <li>Collaborate with senior engineers, security teams, and government personnel to support platform delivery</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you’ll need: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Cloud engineering or infrastructure experience (multi-cloud preferred)&nb
