You'll work closely with IT, development, and security teams to keep networks running reliably across multiple classification levels.</p> <p><strong>What You'll Own</strong></p> <ul> <li>Network infrastructure design, implementation, and support across cloud-based and on-premises environments, including Cisco routing and switching configuration</li> <li>Deployment and management of encryption devices to secure data in transit</li> <li>Network system and service configuration, documented and kept current</li> <li>Troubleshooting of network and system issues across cloud and on-premises environments</li> <li>Network diagrams and documentation that reflect the current state of the environment</li> <li>Coordination with IT, development, and security teams to keep the network aligned with organizational requirements</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You'll Deliver</strong></p> <ul> <li>Reliable, secure network connectivity across cloud and on-premises environments</li> <li>Documented network configurations, diagrams, and changes the team can rely on</li> <li>Fewer network issues through proactive testing and evaluation</li> <li>Resolved network incidents with clear documentation of root cause and fix</li> <li>Secure data transfer through properly deployed and maintained encryption devices</li> </ul> <p><strong>Here's What You Need</strong></p> <ul> <li>3+ years of network engineering experience, including hands-on work with Cisco routing and switching design/configuration and deployment/management of encryption devices</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree</li> <li>DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (Security+, CISSP, CASP, CCNA Security, or equivalent)or DoD 8140 equivalent</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus Points If You Have</strong></p> <ul> <li>2+ years of experience maintaining cloud-based network solutions</li> <li>Experience with network management and monitoring tools (e.g., NetScout, Wireshark, ExtraHop, SolarWinds)</li> <li>Experience with hybrid cloud networking (AWS VPC design, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, or equivalent)</li> <li>Familiarity with virtualization, containerization, or network orchestration technologies</li> <li>Familiarity with National Sec
