This position will support a fully automated cloud leveraging infrastructure as code with data flows crossing controlled interfaces. In this role you will support solutions throughout the full IT project lifecycle.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Debug and enhance/modify Ansible scripts to deploy IaC and CaC</li> <li>Patch and restart instances from enterprise patching repositories (YUM, WSUS)</li> <li>Set/configure/modify IAM policies to enable customer role-based access to workload IS</li> <li>Integrate and implement platform capabilities (e.g., Nessus endpoint) in workload</li> <li>Select and configure AMIs to optimize workload</li> <li>Coordinate with other team members to implement capabilities to meet customer requirements</li> <li>Troubleshoot various issues, such as operating systems, networking, cloud services, and software</li> <li>Perform Active Directory administration and Group Policy management</li> <li>Knowledge of DoD STIGs, and ability to implement them as needed</li> <li>Run Nessus scans and remediate vulnerabilities</li> <li>Be familiar with configuration management and engineering life-cycle best practices</li> <li>Implement, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and document system configurations (Win 2016/2019 & RHEL 7/8)</li> <li>Harden systems to meet security standards</li> <li>Maintain COTS & GOTS software</li> <li>Sustain production systems (e.g., firewalls, file servers, security monitoring systems, etc.) that serve many end users</li> <li>Interface with customers in writing and via telephone to provide technical guidance designed to quickly resolve reported problems</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you’ll need: </strong></p> <ul> <li>2 years of general systems administration experience demonstrating progressive responsibilities</li> <li>2 years of experience performing Windows or Linux system administration duties</li> <li>Familiarity with working in a cloud environment (AWS preferred) </li> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Discipline, or 4 years of equivalent professional or military experience can be used in lieu of degree requirements</li> <li>8570 IAT Level II Compliant Certification, or able to obtain within 90 days of employment</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus points if you have: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Ansible, PowerShell, or Bash Scripting experience</li> <li>Ex
