This individual should be comfortable working across legacy and modern application components in a complex federal production environment. The role requires strong Java and Spring experience, proficiency with both React and Angular front-end technologies, and experience developing data-driven applications using PostgreSQL. The developer will troubleshoot production issues, resolve defects, implement approved enhancements, address technical debt, and help modernize legacy components without disrupting ongoing operations.</p> <p>The Software Engineer will work as part of a cross-functional Agile team and is expected to: </p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, test, document, and maintain secure, production-quality software. </li> <li>Develop and support Java/Spring backend services, APIs, business logic, database integrations, and React- or Angular-based user interfaces. </li> <li>Analyze existing code and system behavior to diagnose complex application, integration, data, and performance issues. </li> <li>Support legacy production applications while contributing to incremental modernization and maintainability improvements. </li> <li>Write and optimize SQL queries, database objects, and data-access components using PostgreSQL. </li> <li>Participate in code reviews, automated testing, defect resolution, release preparation, deployment validation, and production support. </li> <li>Work within AWS-hosted environments and established continuous integration and continuous delivery processes using Jenkins and GitHub. </li> </ul> <p>You must have:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree and at least four years of relevant software development experience.</li> <li>Experience maintaining and enhancing legacy production systems on a federal program, including working within formal security, release, change-control, and operational-support processes.</li> <li>Strong communication, documentation, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills are important, as the developer will need to balance new development with production stability and continuity of service.</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p> </p> <p><span class="TextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8" lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8">As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of <strong>California, Colorad
