The ideal candidate is eager to grow, comfortable working across the full stack, and able to contribute to performance critical backend services as well as modern, responsive front end applications.</p> <p>This position is based in San Diego, CA and requires 5 days per week on site.</p> <p><strong>The work you'll do</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain applications in C/C++ running on Linux environments.</li> <li>Build responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript.</li> <li>Collaborate with senior engineers to design, implement, and improve system architecture.</li> <li>Debug, test, and optimize code for performance, reliability, and scalability.</li> <li>Participate in code reviews, contribute to best practices, and maintain high code quality.</li> <li>Work within agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, estimations, and retrospectives.</li> <li>Write technical documentation for new and existing features.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Here's what you need</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Active Secret security clearance is required, and must be willing and able to upgrade to TS/SCI.</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering; or equivalent experience.</li> <li>1+ years of experience working with software fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms, or debugging practices.</li> <li>Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and basic shell commands.</li> <li>Proficiency in C and/or C++ development (academic or professional).</li> <li>Hands on experience with React and TypeScript, including components, hooks, or state management.</li> <li>Familiarity with version control systems (Git).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus points if you have</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with build systems such as CMake, Make, or similar.</li> <li>Knowledge of REST APIs or GraphQL.</li> <li>Exposure to containerization (Podman) or CI/CD pipelines.</li> <li>Proactive and eager to learn new technologies.</li> <li>Strong communication and teamwork abilities.</li> <li>Analytical thinker with solid problem solving skills.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Security clearance</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Active Secret security clearance is required, and must be willing and able to upgrade to TS/SCI.</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class=
