Recognized as a Glassdoor Top 100 Best Place to Work, we offer a collaborative and caring community where you feel like you belong and are empowered to grow, learn and thrive through hands-on experience, certifications, industry training and more. </div> <div> </div> <div>Join us to drive positive, lasting change that moves missions and the government forward!</div> <div> </div> </div></div><p>Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Technical Support Lead to join our team and support our client in the Columbia, MD area.</p> <p>As an IT Operations specialist, you will oversee the management and security of complex IT environments, ensuring the seamless operation of Linux systems and cloud-based infrastructures.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll be doing: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Implementing and maintaining robust cyber security measures, including the deployment and monitoring of network-based Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems</li> <li>Hands-on work with virtualization technologies and the architecture of both cloud and data center environments</li> <li>Managing and optimizing resources across platforms like Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure</li> <li>Streamline processes and enhance system reliability</li> <li>Integrate security and operational best practices into continuous deployment workflows</li> <li>Ensuring compliance and risk mitigation across all IT operations</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you’ll need: </strong></p> <ul> <li>3 years of experience in general IT, cybersecurity, CNO software or security research</li> <li>3 years of experience managing Linux Systems</li> <li>Experience with networking (e.g.: TCP/IP, virtualization, cloud/data center architecture)</li> <li>Experience with automation and scripting tools (e.g.: PowerShell, Ansible Playbooks, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, BASH, etc.)</li> <li>Experience with Service desk tools (e.g.: JIRA, Redmine, ServiceNow, etc.)</li> <li>Experience with knowledge management system (e.g.: Confluence, GitLab, etc.)</li> <li>DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification or Higher</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus Points if you have: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with DevOps pipeline tools (e.g.: Jenkins, Git, Docker, etc.)</li> <li>Experience working in cloud environments </li> <li>Experience with NIST Risk Management Framework Processes</li> <li>Ability to adapt to evolving technologies, proactively identify vulnerabilities, and implement solutions that align with organizational objectives</li> </ul> <p><strong>Clearance: </strong></p> <p>Must have an active TS/SCI level clearance and a willingness to sit for a polygraph</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p> </p> <p><span class="TextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8" lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8">As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasona
