Recognized as a Glassdoor Top 100 Best Place to Work, we offer a collaborative and caring community where you feel like you belong and are empowered to grow, learn and thrive through hands-on experience, certifications, industry training and more. </div> <div> </div> <div>Join us to drive positive, lasting change that moves missions and the government forward!</div> <div> </div> </div></div><p>AFS is seeking a Test Engineer, for an onsite position in Lorton, VA.</p> <p><strong>The Work:</strong></p> <div> <ul> <li>Perform test events including System Integration & Dry Run (SIDR), System Integration Test (SIT), User Acceptance Test (UAT), Site Validation Test, and Mission Acceptance Test.</li> <li>Conduct formal test reviews such as Test Readiness Reviews and Post‑Test Reviews.</li> <li>Execute test strategy activities including Requirements Verification & System Validation, Customer Requirements Validation, Test Case Development, Test Incident Identification & Management, Test Incident Reporting (TIR), and Test Metrics Management.</li> <li>Compile or develop manual and/or automated test cases for the Test Plan.</li> <li>Identify, document, and prioritize defects in alignment with Test Lead guidance.</li> <li>Execute tests in accordance with the approved Test Plan.</li> <li>Prepare and deliver regular test status updates to the Test Lead.</li> <li>Input test results into applicable test management tools and track execution progress.</li> <li>Evaluate testing software/tools and recommend alternative solutions as needed.</li> </ul> </div> <p><strong>Here’s what you need:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of related technical experience, including either three years in Windows Server–focused systems administration or three years in system testing with an emphasis on automation.</li> <li>Experience with Agile development methodologies and software testing processes</li> <li>Understanding of the various aspects of the system development life cycle (SDLC)</li> <li>Familiarity with CI/CD processes and version control (GitHub/AzureDevOps)</li> <li>Experience with Windows Server technologies including Active Directory Domain Services, Group Policy, and PowerShell</li> <li>Ability to support Microsoft Information Request SAF/AQ Project Order requirements</li> <li>DOD 8140 baseline certification required upon start</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus points if you have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with test automation tools such as Cucumber, Watir, TestComplete, or LoginEnterprise</li> <li>Working knowledge of testing frameworks including Cypress, Jasmine, Selenium, or Pester</li> <li>Experience authoring test cases and documenting test results</li> <li>Experience with CI/CD processes and version control systems (GitHub, Azure DevOps)</li> <li>Experience working with cloud technologies (Azure experience or AZ‑104 certification is a plus)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Security Clearance:</strong&g
