The candidate will be expected to collaborate to design and then develop, implement, and optimize critical databases, processes and reports to achieve business goals and support the development and data platform teams.</span></p> <div class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing"><strong> </strong></div> <h3 class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Key Responsibilities:</h3> <ul> <li class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Design, implement, and maintain relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Aurora, MongoDB, etc.).</li> <li class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Integrate database deployments into CI/CD pipelines to enable automated schema migrations, rollback, and testing.</li> <li class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) for database provisioning (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).</li> <li class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure database performance, health, and security.</li> <li class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Optimize database queries, indexes, and execution plans to improve performance and reduce costs.</li> <li class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Manage high availability, replication, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.</li> <li class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Collaborate with developers, SREs, and DevOps engineers to ensure smooth and secure application-to-database integration.</li> <li class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Enforce security best practices, including encryption, key management (AWS KMS/CMK), access control, and compliance with data regulations.</li> <li class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Automate routine operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.</li> <li class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root cause analysis.</li> </ul> <div class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing"> </div> <h3 class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Qualifications:</h3> <ul> <li class="x_ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message x_skipProofing">Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).</li>
