<div class="content-intro"><p><strong>It's a new day with a new opportunity at 8am! </strong></p></div><p><strong>About the role:</strong></p> <p>The Data Analytics team is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support key business functions including FP&A, Partnerships, and Product by delivering high-quality analytics, automated reporting, and actionable insights. This role sits at the intersection of analytics, finance, and business strategy, and will partner closely with Data Engineering to build scalable data models and workflows that power financial and partnership analysis.</p> <p>The ideal candidate is highly technical, comfortable working with complex datasets, and experienced in translating ambiguous business questions into well-structured analyses and clear narratives for senior leaders.</p> <p><em>This role is hired through an Employer of Record (EOR) partner in the Czech Republic.</em></p> <p><strong>About us:</strong></p> <p>8am builds software that helps professionals run stronger businesses. As we continue to grow, we’re investing in the next generation of our platform and are looking for experienced engineers who want to help shape its future.</strong></p> <p><strong>What you'll do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform ad hoc analysis to determine identify trends and underlying root causes across 8am’s product ecosystem</li> <li>Work with Data Engineering to automate data transformations based on findings</li> <li>Work cross-functionally with other teams like Finance, Accounting, Partnerships and Product to convert data into insights</li> <li>Manage all steps of the data lifecycle (Collection, measurement, analysis, interpretation, presentation), provide qualitative and quantitative analysis and be able to present findings to stakeholders along with recommendations supported by rigorous analysis and statistics.</li> <li>Translate and summarize data into formats that help stakeholders make decisions quickly </li> <li>Develop rich, interactive visualizations to help stakeholders understand their area of the business and translate insights to data-driven decisions</li> <li>Communicate insights clearly through written summaries, presentations, and data storytelling tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences</li> <li>Analyze historical data, define best practices, and identify opportunities for optimization.</li> <li>Gather Data from Internal and External Sources as needed to provide the full view of problems or opportunities</li> <li>Explore the data and discover patterns, meaningful relationships, anomalies and trends.</li> <li>Handle multiple projects and meet deliverables</li> </ul> <p><strong>About you:</strong></p> <ul> <li>You have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a Quantitative field (Statistics, Business, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience</li> <li>You can perform advanced data transformations in SQL and Excel</li> <li>You are experienced in transforming, analyzing, and visualizing data in Python </li> <li>Experience using GenAI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc) to create interactive data tools</li> <li>You are experienced usi
