Prioritizing innovation and client-focused solutions, we assist major agencies in addressing intricate issues and ensuring a more secure future.</div> </div></div><p>AGE Solutions is seeking an experienced <strong>Systems Engineer</strong> with specialization in Cloud-hosted Storage Solutions to support a Department of Defense (DoD) customer.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities Include: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Responsible for effective provisioning, operation, installation/configuration, and maintenance of systems hardware/software/related infrastructure with an emphasis on cloud computing technologies.</li> <li>Provide technical support, guidance and hands-on delivery in the planning, implementation, and ongoing operations.</li> <li>Participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the existing cloud infrastructure.</li> <li>Ensure that on-premise and cloud hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values and regulatory requirements.</li> <li>Document specifications, project plans, configurations, test plans and results.</li> <li>Depict complex ideas, issues, and designs to varied audiences through different reporting and briefing modalities.</li> <li>Monitor and report on existing data restore and disaster recovery capabilities for both on-premise and cloud environments.</li> <li>Provide recommendations on process improvement and efficiencies.</li> <li>Coordinate/perform/document Disaster Recovery (DR) failovers within cloud environments.</li> <li>Ensure high availability and performance expectations of critical enterprise applications/systems operating within the cloud environment.</li> <li>Develop, integrate, and oversee storage arrays, fiber switches, and associated components.</li> <li>Maintain and oversee data backup solutions to ensure mission objective are met for both on-premise and cloud environments.</li> <li>Research, build, and implement file sharing technologies to meet customer requirements.</li> <li>Troubleshoot and advise on advanced storage issues/deficiencies.</li> <li>Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance.</li> <li>Perform storage analysis, capacity planning, and performance planning of storage components.</li> <li>Author/document policies and procedures to support the operational storage environment and participate in the design and ongoing refinement of procedures and policies.</li> <li>Prepare reports on storage administration best practices, new technologies, etc., and recommend enhancements and configuration changes to improve and optimize existing storage technologies.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Experience: </strong> <ul> <li>Five (5) years of overall professional experience in the engineering field. This includes evaluating, manufacturing, and integrating enterprise-level storage and backup software technologies.</li> <li>Three (3) years of hands-on experience managing hybrid storage infrastructure (Azure cloud and/or Amazon Web Services).</li> <li>Two (2) years hands-on experience working with Department of Defense (DoD) IT systems.</li> <li>Two (2) years hands-on experience with enterprise SAN (Storage Area Network) management to incl
