Prioritizing innovation and client-focused solutions, we assist major agencies in addressing intricate issues and ensuring a more secure future.</div> </div></div><p>We are seeking an experienced <strong>Sr. Network/Systems Engineer</strong> to support the design, implementation, optimization, and troubleshooting of enterprise networking and hybrid infrastructure environments.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities Include: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, engineer, integrate, implement, test, maintain, review, and administer infrastructure, hardware, and software to manage network security and risk posture in alignment with the organization's security strategy.</li> <li>Apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems engineering lifecycle to translate cyber objectives, technology trends, and environmental conditions into effective engineering solutions.</li> <li>Configure cyber systems to meet user requirements, ensuring that they are properly aligned with security policies and standards.</li> <li>Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts to address complex problems and provide innovative solutions in the cybersecurity domain.</li> <li>Possess and apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and assignments, demonstrating expertise in multiple areas of cybersecurity and systems engineering.</li> <li>Plan and lead major technology assignments, evaluating performance results and recommending significant changes to ensure project success and growth.</li> <li>Serve as a technical expert across multiple project assignments, operating with substantial autonomy and providing mentorship or supervision to junior employees in technical competencies.</li> <li>Stay up to date on market and technology trends to identify and implement best-of-breed solutions for clients.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Must have at least 8 years of relevant experience in network and systems engineering roles, demonstrating a deep understanding of networking technologies, security solutions, and system administration.</li> <li>Bachelor's Degree in a related field.</li> <li>Must possess and maintain a current DoD Top Secret Clearance.</li> <li>Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification requirements and maintain at least one of the specified certifications (CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Experience, Skills, and Knowledge: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with and understanding of Zero Trust Architecture principles and implementation strategies. This includes implementing least privilege access controls, continuous authentication, and micro-segmentation to enhance network security. Experience with Versa Networks is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with specific network technologies and solutions.</li> <li>Strong familiarity with network security solutions, including intrusion detection systems (IDS), firewall configurations, and other security measures.</li> <li>Proficiency in routing and switching technologies, particularly with Juniper and Cisco hardware.</li> <li>Experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting wireless networks.</li> <li>A solid grasp of networking fundamentals, including network functions, routing protocols, configuration mappings, and network dr
