This role will support process and project design engineering, with an emphasis on process development, engineering documentation, and process flow development. The position includes hands-on work in the lab and pilot plant and will partner closely with scientists, engineers, and operations teams across RD&E, Development, and manufacturing support functions. This role is based onsite in New Britain, Pennsylvania.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have a degree in chemical engineering and early exposure to process engineering, pilot plant operations, scale-up, or technical development in chemicals, energy, manufacturing, or related industrial environments. Candidates should be excited to work in a hands-on startup environment and contribute across lab, pilot, and engineering activities.</p> <p><strong>What you get to do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build hands-on familiarity with AIRCO’s lab and pilot plant operations through structured onsite training and project work </li> <li>Work with Senior Engineers/ Technical Specialists to develop process flow schemes </li> <li>Work under the direction of Senior Engineers/ Technical Specialists to develop engineering design templates </li> <li>Work with Senior Engineers/ Technical Specialists to develop engineering tools for equipment design</li> <li>Review data, schematics, drawings, and process documentation for accuracy and quality.</li> <li>Support senior engineers on cross-functional development projects and technical problem-solving</li> <li>Support evaluation of new process technologies and development of process solutions</li> <li>Analyze data and communicate findings and recommendations through written summaries and verbal updates</li> <li>Ensuring compliance with relevant engineering design standards/guidelines, as well as, environmental, health and safety regulations.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you bring to AIRCO</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline</li> <li>0 to 2 years of relevant industry, internship, co-op, or research experience</li> <li>Exposure to process development, pilot plant operations, scale-up, or process engineering</li> <li>Familiarity with engineering, modeling, or data analysis tools such as AutoCAD,
