You will work with station teams, contractors, vendors, airport authorities, local communities, and internal departments to keep the operation moving safely and reliably.</p> <h3><span style="color: rgb(230, 126, 35);">Operational Leadership</span></h3> <ul> <li>Oversee safe and efficient aircraft handling, passenger service, baggage operations, grooming, and ramp activities</li> <li>Monitor operational performance, including on-time performance, delays, baggage handling, staffing, customer service, and overall station reliability</li> <li>Lead teams to provide calm, practical support during irregular operations and emergencies</li> </ul> <h3><span style="color: rgb(230, 126, 35);">People Leadership</span></h3> <ul> <li>Lead coach, mentor, and support team members across the northern region</li> <li>Participate in hiring, training, succession planning, and employee development</li> <li>Build a culture of teamwork, accountability, professionalism, service and safety</li> </ul> <h3><span style="color: rgb(230, 126, 35);">Safety, Service & Compliance</span></h3> <ul> <li>Support compliance with Transport Canada requirements, airport authority requirements, company policies, and Safety Management System standards</li> <li>Promote safety awareness and practical operational best practices across northern stations</li> <li>Resolve escalated operational and customer service matters in a timely, respectful, and professional way</li> </ul> <h3><span style="color: rgb(230, 126, 35);">Planning, Reporting & Relationships</span></h3> <ul> <li>Monitor staffing levels, overtime, operational expenses, vendor performance, and resource needs</li> <li>Support contract management, operational planning, reports, performance summaries, and recommendations</li> <li>Maintain positive working relationships with airport authorities, ground service providers, contractors, and local communities</li> <li>Build and maintain strong relationships with northern communities, Indigenous governments, and k
