More info at <a href="http://Akidolabs.com">Akidolabs.com</a>.</p></div><h2 data-start="1269" data-end="1287">The Opportunity</h2> <p data-start="1289" data-end="1576">Akido is hiring <strong data-start="1305" data-end="1327">Housing Navigators</strong> to support our Community Supports Housing programs in <strong data-start="1382" data-end="1420">Los Angeles County and Kern County</strong>. This role is central to helping members experiencing homelessness or housing instability successfully transition into housing and maintain stable tenancy.</p> <p data-start="1578" data-end="1823">Housing Navigators work directly with members, landlords, care teams, and community partners to deliver <strong data-start="1682" data-end="1731">Housing Transition Navigation Services (HTNS)</strong>, <strong data-start="1733" data-end="1753">Housing Deposits</strong>, and <strong data-start="1759" data-end="1809">Housing Tenancy and Sustaining Services (HTSS)</strong> under CalAIM.</p> <p data-start="1825" data-end="2034">This role blends <strong data-start="1842" data-end="1868">field-based engagement</strong> with <strong data-start="1874" data-end="1919">structured documentation and coordination</strong>, ideal for someone who understands housing systems, enjoys problem-solving, and is motivated by measurable impact.</p> <hr data-start="2036" data-end="2039"> <h2 data-start="2041" data-end="2058">What You’ll Do</h2> <h3 data-start="2060" data-end="2107">Housing Transition Navigation (Pre-Tenancy)</h3> <ul> <li data-start="2111" data-end="2202">Conduct housing assessments to identify member needs, preferences, barriers, and strengths.</li> <li data-start="2205" data-end="2292">Complete and maintain Housing Plans in accordance with Community Supports requirements.</li> <li data-start="2295" data-end="2315">Assist members with:</li> <li data-start="2320" data-end="2360">Housing searches and unit identification</li> <li data-start="2365" data-end="2396">Completing housing applications</li> <li data-start="2401" data-end="2493">Gathering required documentation (ID, SS card, income verification, disability verification)</li> <li data-start="2496" data-end="2595">Conduct or support VI-SPDAT completion when required and coordinate with Coordinated Entry Systems.</li> <li data-start="2598" data-end="2676">Educate members on tenant rights, fair housing, and reasonable accommodation
