You'll combine deep technical accounting expertise with emerging leadership responsibilities, ensuring North American financials are reported accurately under IFRS, internal controls remain strong, and the accounting team is supported and developed.</p> <p data-start="654" data-end="1150">Reporting to the Director, Finance, you'll partner closely with FP&A, the global Controller function, Revenue Operations, and external auditors while leveraging automation and AI-enabled tools to continuously improve the efficiency and quality of our financial operations. As AlayaCare continues to scale as a SaaS business, you'll help ensure our accounting function evolves alongside the complexity of subscription-based revenue, multi-currency operations, and changing regulatory requirements.</p> <div class="tk0j8o1 _1ibi0s31a _1ibi0s3en"> <div id="base-ui-:rrb:" class="wdbi343 wdbi341 _1ibi0s3ec" data-label="1" data-base-ui-click-trigger=""></div> </div> <h3 class="_9k2iva0 p8i6j0c _1ibi0s314 heading3 _9k2iva1">What You’ll Do</h3> <ul> <li data-section-id="19124vu" data-start="122" data-end="278">Lead the North American month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, delivering timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS.</li> <li data-section-id="1xa6whk" data-start="279" data-end="467">Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, intercompany transactions, and key account reconciliations for Canadian and U.S. entities, ensuring complete and accurate financial records.</li> <li data-section-id="8ub2ba" data-start="468" data-end="649">Review and reconcile revenue transactions under IFRS 15, including deferred revenue, unbilled receivables, and contract modifications, to ensure accurate SaaS revenue recognition.</li> <li data-section-id="11zs4zm" data-start="650" data-end="821">Oversee subscription revenue accounting for multi-element arrangements and variable consideration, including deferred revenue and unbilled accounts receivable schedules.</li> <li data-section-id="1po4qnd" data-start="822" data-end="981">Manage Canadian and U.S. indirect tax filings and reconciliations, and support corporate income tax compliance and incentive programs such as SR&ED and CDAE.</li> <li data-section-id="lc2z0y" data-start="982" data-end="1151">Lead the annual and interim audit process for North America, acting as the primary liaison with external auditors and preparing supporting schedules and documentation.</li> <li data-section-id="o8gg30" data-start="11
