Hands-on Australian payroll experience is essential β youβll process our fortnightly payroll end-to-end from day one. Experience with ADP or a similar system is a bonus, but not a dealbreaker. Youβll manage this across our two Australian companies, and gradually build exposure to how payroll works in other countries as part of our global finance team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you'll have real room to grow as our payroll function expands.</p> <p><strong>Your days will involve:</strong></p> <p>Payroll Processing & Compliance</p> <ul> <li>Process fortnightly Australian payroll end-to-end β new starters, terminations, leave, overtime, allowances and deductions</li> <li>Keep on top of PAYG, superannuation (incl. upload), STP and workers' compensation requirements</li> </ul> <p>Systems & Reconciliation</p> <ul> <li>Work across two ADP instances for two different entities, plus reconcile payroll data and journals</li> <li>Run manual validation checks each cycle to catch discrepancies before they go out, and support month-end and audit</li> <li>Get comfortable using AI tools to work more efficiently, in line with our privacy and security standards</li> </ul> <p>Collaboration & Global Team</p> <ul> <li>Work flexible morning hours some days to overlap with our global payroll team</li> <li>Partner with People & Culture and Finance, and handle employee payroll queries with a service mindset</li> <li>Start building exposure to payroll in other jurisdictions, including Canada</li> </ul> <p>Growing Into the Role</p> <ul> <li>Take on more of the payroll function as it expands β there's a genuine path to grow here, not a fixed, static role</li> <li>Get involved in payroll process improvements and, over time, potentially payroll system implementations</li> </ul> <p>You wonβt be expected to know every jurisdiction on day one β youβll be supported to build knowledge of Canadian and other international payroll as our global footprint grows.</p> <p><strong>You'll thrive in this role if you:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Have hands-on Australian payroll experience end-to-end (STP, PAYG, super etc.) β essential</li> <li>Have intermediate Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and are curious about using AI tools</li> <li>Are a strong communicator, able to communicate across borders and make complex concepts easy to understand</li> <li>Are self-driven with the ability to prioritise your work to meet
