Reporting to the Director of Data Engineering, you will design and implement scalable, complex data pipelines and infrastructure to power our data products.</p> <p data-start="805" data-end="1056">As a senior member of the team, you’ll collaborate closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to enhance the reliability and performance of our data systems, while influencing the enterprise-wide data architecture. You will also mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in data engineering.</p> <h2 data-start="1393" data-end="1413"><strong data-start="1393" data-end="1411">What You’ll Do</strong></h2> <ul> <li data-start="1416" data-end="1539">Design, develop, and maintain scalable, cost-effective, and reliable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.</li> <li data-start="1542" data-end="1658">Translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure alignment with product and customer success teams.</li> <li data-start="1661" data-end="1801">Architect and implement data storage solutions (data lakes, warehouses, real-time processing systems) and supporting cloud infrastructure.</li> <li data-start="1804" data-end="1887">Optimize pipelines for performance, scalability, cost-efficiency, and automation.</li> <li data-start="1890" data-end="1956">Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems.</li> <li data-start="1959" data-end="2019">Evaluate and adopt new tools, technologies, and processes.</li> <li data-start="2022" data-end="2123">Partner with DevOps and engineering teams for seamless deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.</li> <li data-start="2126" data-end="2203">Document workflows and processes for knowledge sharing and maintainability.</li> <li data-start="2206" data-end="2285">Stay current on industry trends in data engineering, ML, and cloud computing.</li> <li data-start="2288" data-end="2354">Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior engineers.</li> </ul> <h2 data-start="2361" data-end="2393"><strong data-start="2361" data-end="2391">What You Bring to the Team</strong></h2> <ul> <li data-start="2396" data-end="2461">5+ years of hands-on experience with data software development.</li> <li data-start="2956" data-end="3019">Experience with AlayaCare’s stack (Python, PHP, Vue.JS, AWS).</li> <li data
