<p><strong>Facilities Associate</strong></p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>The Facilities Associate supports the daily operation, maintenance, and security of company facilities within an alarm and security systems environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring workspaces are safe, functional, and well-maintained while supporting building systems, physical security infrastructure, and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and eager to grow within facilities and operations.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support daily facilities operations, including inspections, preventative maintenance, and workspace setup</li> <li>Assist with the maintenance and coordination of building systems such as alarms, access control, CCTV, and monitoring equipment (in partnership with vendors and internal teams)</li> <li>Respond to facilities service requests and troubleshoot basic building issues (lighting, furniture, minor repairs)</li> <li>Coordinate with external vendors for repairs, maintenance, and inspections</li> <li>Assist with office moves, desk setups, and equipment relocations</li> <li>Help ensure compliance with safety and security standards, including fire alarms, emergency equipment, and access badge systems</li> <li>Maintain accurate documentation for maintenance activities, inspections, and service requests</li> <li>Track inventory of facilities supplies, tools, and equipment</li> <li>Support emergency or after-hours facilities issues as needed</li> <li>Maintain organized storage, workspaces, and facilities areas</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or training in facilities, construction, electronics, or a related field is a plus</li> <li>Some experience or demonstrated aptitude in facilities, maintenance, security systems, or related environments</li> <li>Working knowledge of or interest in building systems, alarms, and physical security infrastructure</li> <li>Ability to safely use hand tools and basic maintenance equipment</li> <li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li> <li>Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented</li> <li>Ability to lift up to [40–50] lbs and perform physical tasks</li> <li>Basic computer skills, including email and work order or ticketing systems</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with alarm systems, access control, CCTV, or low-voltage systems</li> <li>Familiarity with vendor coordination and service scheduling</li> <li>OSHA or safety training (or willingness to obtain)</li> <li>Strong communication and customer-service skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p> <ul> <li>Combination of office, warehouse, and light industrial settings</li> <li>Occasional after-hours or weekend support for emergencies or planned work</li> <li>Physical activity including walking, standing, lifting, bending, and climbing</li> </ul> <p>Please note that sponsorship of new applicants for employment authorization, or any other immigration-related support, is not available for this position at this time.</p> <p><strong>WHY WORK FOR <a href="http://www.alarm.com">ALARM.COM</a>?</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Collaborate with outstanding people:</strong> We hire only the best.
