This individual will contribute to strategic initiatives that drive the growth of the aviation group. You will perform engineering models, analysis and/or designs, and support calculations / documentation. You will also coordinate the drafting of project elements for various clients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of aviation design and be an EIT. <em>Recent graduates are encouraged to apply!</em></p> <h5>Location</h5> <p>This individual will work out of any of our Kansas offices.</p> <h5>The Impact You Will Have</h5> <ul> <li>Civil airfield design production coordinating with experienced aviation design staff</li> <li>Prepare multiple design projects at one time</li> <li>Perform complete basic analysis and design</li> <li>Develop thorough design details appropriate for the project</li> <li>Understand how to properly apply design standards/codes</li> <li>Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, and pay items</li> <li>Begin to take ownership of all deliverables</li> </ul> <h5>What We Are Looking For</h5> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline required</li> <li>E.I.T (or desire to obtain P.E. in the future) preferred</li> <li>Knowledgeable in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office products</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate in a team environment on challenging projects.</li> <li>Willingness to be adaptable to office and field inspection tasks</li> <li>The position may include the need to perform field inspection and may require travel to project sites</li> <li>Excellent communication skills (verbal and written - e-mails, project memos, reports, etc.)</li> <li>Detailed, and organized individual who thrives in environments that are deadline driven</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><hr> <h3 data-start="140" data-end="159">Why Benesch</h3> <p data-start="161" data-end="221">It’s simple.
