The ideal candidate has experience with civil transportation design and comprehensive knowledge of roadway projects and developing plans in accordance with local DOT standards. </p> <h5>Location</h5> <p>This position will report to our Atlanta or Augusta office Tuesday - Thursday. Mondays and Fridays will be worked remote. </p> <h5>The Impact You Will Have</h5> <ul> <li>Create and execute project work plans</li> <li>Manage project teams, accountable for budget and schedule</li> <li>Mentor junior staff</li> <li>Contribute to Division strategic growth initiatives and collaborate on regional growth strategy</li> <li>Interacting with clients, agencies, and other project stakeholders, including the DOT</li> <li>Represent Benesch at industry and professional engagement events</li> <li>Ability to identify opportunities and lead strategic project pursuits</li> <li>Interacting with clients, agencies, and other project stakeholders</li> </ul> <h5>What You Will Need</h5> <ul> <li>A minimum of 4 years of diverse and progressive civil transportation design experience</li> <li>Licensed PE in the state of GA or planning to obtain licensure within one year</li> <li>B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering</li> <li>Experience working with public agencies, private entities and/or municipalities</li> <li>Progressive experience with developing plans, technical specifications, and submissions per DOT standards and requirements, including OpenRoads <ul> <li>Previous experience with GDOT standards and requirements is preferred</li> </ul> </li> <li>Excellent communication and client relation skills</li> <li>Strong organization skills with a track record for adhering to design budgets and schedules</li> <li>Advanced use of CADD and assure compliance with project CADD standards</li> <li>Ability to work independently and develop task deliverables in a complete and reviewable manner</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><hr> <h3 data-start="140" data-end="159">Why Benesch</h3> <p data-start="161" data-end="221">It’s simple.
