We take pride in fostering a culture where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.</p></div><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Sr. Mechanical Engineer </strong></span></p> <p><strong><u>ONSITE in Berkeley, CA</u></strong></p> <h2>Domain-Specific Skills</h2> <ul> <li>Strong mechanical product-development background with cost-reduction and DFM leadership.</li> <li>Advanced SolidWorks capability for parts, assemblies, drawings, configurations, and design changes.</li> <li>Structures, sheet metal, welded assemblies, piping, fittings, plastics, tolerance analysis, and mechanical interfaces.</li> <li>Ability to combine CAD, CAE results, supplier feedback, validation planning, and cost data into design decisions.</li> </ul> <h2>Key Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Lead mechanical work packages and allocate activities across the mechanical team.</li> <li>Develop and review redesign concepts for pack structures, roof/base skid, cell hardware, piping, fittings, scrubber vessel, and sustaining issues.</li> <li>Drive design reviews, problem resolution, supplier DFM discussions, and cross-functional decisions.</li> <li>Ensure designs maintain critical interfaces and backward compatibility where required.</li> <li>Review CAD, drawings, GD&T, tolerance analyses, BOMs, cost estimates, and validation plans.</li> <li>Coordinate FEA, CFD, plastics, materials, electrical, manufacturing, and sourcing inputs.</li> </ul> <h2>Required Skills / Experience</h2> <ul> <li>7+ years of mechanical product-development experience, including technical ownership of complex assemblies.</li> <li>Experience in product design from concept through detailed design, verification, release, and production support.</li> <li>Working knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, DFM/DFA, DFMEA, and engineering change control.</li> <li>Ability to communicate technical tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations across design, manufacturing, analysis, suppliers, and customers.</li> <li>Advanced SolidWorks; experience with PLM/PDM and formal release processes.</li> <li>Demonstrated cost-reduction, supplier collaboration, and technical-leadership experience.</li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-contrast="none">Salary Range: $120,000-$140,000/K</span></strong></p> <p><span data-contrast="auto">The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559738":100,"335559739":100,"335559740":240}"> </span></p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will n
