Job Purpose The Proposal Writer is responsible for creating compelling, persuasive, and high-quality proposals that help secure new business opportunities and support the company’s growth in the software development and IT services domain. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and leadership to craft winning responses to RFx opportunities and ensure consistency, accuracy, and impact in every submission. Job Duties and Responsibilities <ul> <li>Drive Opportunities: Identify and analyze RFx (RFI/RFP/RFQ/RFB) opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to shape effective proposal strategies.</li> <li>Proposal Development: Write clear, concise, and persuasive proposals tailored to various technical and business audiences.</li> <li>Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts across sales, technical, UX, product, and delivery teams, as well as internal stakeholders for key inputs and reviews.</li> <li>Quality Assurance: Ensure all proposals meet company standards for format, accuracy, and presentation while maintaining strict submission deadlines.</li> <li>Continuous Improvement: Maintain and enhance proposal templates, content libraries, and workflow automation tools for efficiency and consistency.</li> <li>Sizing & Pricing Support: Assist in effort estimation and pricing for small to medium app development and maintenance projects under the guidance of the Bids Lead.</li> </ul> Required Qualifications Education <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree preferable in Computer Science, Information Technology, English, or a related field.</li> </ul> Experience <ul> <li>6-10 years of experience in proposal writing, preferably in software development or IT services.</li> </ul> Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities <ul> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of English.</li> <li>Ability to write persuasively and adapt tone/style to suit different audiences.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.</li> <li>Familiarity with proposal automation tools and formatting best practices.</li> <li>Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.</li> <li>Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and leadership levels.</li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications <ul> <li>Experience writing proposals for app development and maintenance projects.</li> <li>Exposure to workflow automation or no-code tools.</li> <li>Familiarity with RFx processes in Canadian or North American markets.</li> <li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word or Google Docs formatting.</li> </ul> Working Conditions <ul> <li>Work Arrangement: Fully remote, based in India.</li> <li>&l
