Air Dominance and Strike Mechanical Design Engineers own the <strong>full development lifecycle</strong>, from concept generation, to integration and flight test, ensuring<strong> </strong>high-performance, resilient, and scalable mechanical systems that meet the demands of<strong> </strong>complex, contested. </p> <h4>WHAT YOU'LL DO</h4> <ul> <li>Design and develop aircraft fuel systems supporting multiple air vehicle programs from concept through testing and qualification</li> <li>Perform detailed design of fuel system components including tubing, pumps, filtration, gauging, venting, and refueling/defueling systems</li> <li>Partner with software engineering, systems, testing, manufacturing, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams to develop and integrate fuel system hardware</li> <li>Support component selection, prototype builds, qualification, testing, and system integration throughout the development lifecycle</li> <li>Collaborate with senior engineers and fuel systems architects while gradually taking ownership of increasingly complex fuel system designs</li> </ul> <h4>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul> <li>B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience</li> <li>3+ years of experience designing aircraft fuel systems or closely related aerospace fluid systems</li> <li>Experience supporting the product lifecycle from concept through testing and qualification</li> <li>Experience with Siemens NX or comparable CAD software (e.g., CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks)</li> <li>Strong understanding of fluid mechanics and mechanical design fundamentals</li> <li>Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills</li> <li>Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance</li> </ul> <h4>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul> <li>Experience working with suppliers, component selection, or prototype development</li> <li>Experience with one-dimensional fluid analysis tools such as AMESIM, Flowmaster, Easy5, or similar software</li> <li>Active U.S. Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$112,000</span><span class="divider">—</span><span>$194,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary on
