We are seeking a <strong>Maritime Technical Operations Engineer</strong> to join the Dive-XL Field Operations team. In this role, you will deploy globally in support of Anduril's Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) platforms, leveraging your technical expertise to operate our cutting-edge system in some of the most demanding and dynamic conditions.<br><br></p> <h3>WHAT YOU'LL DO</h3> <p><strong>Technical Operations & Troubleshooting:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Deploy globally to support customer-fielded AUV operations from a variety of support vessel types.</li> <li>Lead hands-on troubleshooting, repair, operation, and maintenance of AUVs and associated equipment in the field.</li> <li>Master the intricacies of AUV operations and subsystems; serve as a product expert in both hands-on and remote support scenarios.</li> <li>Drive challenging and vague technical problems to clarity and resolution at the interface of hardware, software, and networking.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Customer Support & Integration:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Liaise between customers, engineering, and operations for issue resolution, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.</li> <li>Support the creation, review, and execution of test plans during at-sea testing while working with integration and test engineers.</li> <li>Provide constant feedback to the product team to rapidly mature our systems.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Training & Documentation:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate on training development for initial customer deliveries and follow-on specialized trainings.</li> <li>Gather and integrate customer feedback into user documentation and training materials.</li> <li>Review and contribute to user documentation for all aspects of AUV operations, including user guides, mission planning guides, etc.</li> </ul> <h4>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience operating at-sea robotic systems, ideally in a customer support role</li> <li>Extensive hands-on (field operations, manufacturing, or test) technical experience</li> <li>Strong aptitude for problem solving in unstructured situations at the interface of hardware, software, and networking</li> <li>Proficient with AUV maintenance, operations, troubleshooting, and repair</li> <li>Comfortable with Linux, command line interfaces, and software debugging</li> <li>Strong computer and documentation experience</li> <li>Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong communication and customer management skills</li> <li>Ability to lift 50 lbs</li> <li>Able to work extended hours as required</li> <li>Wi
