Anduril has brought to the market a unique, ultra-long-range, full-ocean-depth platform, and a completely refreshed maritime vehicle and flexible manufacturing architecture that scales from "large" to "extra-large" vehicle sizes. Today, Anduril is executing on multi-million-dollar contracts while simultaneously performing Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) AUV operations.<br><br>As our Maritime team continues to quickly grow, we are looking for motivated candidates that are inspired to work within an extremely resourceful and innovative team that is passionate about subsea robotics for the defense industry. We work in a fast paced environment where collaboration and accountability are a way of life.</p> <h3>ABOUT THE JOB </h3> <p>We are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Quincy, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for rapidly iterating and building cutting-edge Autonomous Underwater Vehicles, with a strong focus on new production introduction (NPI). You will own Design for Manufacturability (DFM), tool design & selection, process creation & optimization, vendor sourcing & interaction, quality planning, and work documentation.</p> <h4>WHAT YOU’LL DO </h4> <ul> <li>Lead the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and equipment for maritime products at varying levels of maturity</li> <li>Design and optimize production processes for efficiency, scalability, and quality</li> <li>Create and review technical drawings, blueprints, and process maps</li> <li>Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve quality, and increase productivity</li> <li>Utilize Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to enhance manufacturing operations</li> <li>Oversee the execution of manufacturing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards</li> <li>Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Design, Quality, and Supply Chain, to ensure smooth production ramp-up for new products</li> <li>Collaborate with suppliers to improve material quality and negotiate cost-effective solutions</li> <li>Mentor and support junior engineers and manufacturing staff</li> <li>Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends to drive innovation within the manufacturing processes</li> </ul> <h4>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS </h4> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware</li> <li>Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or a hard science</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to creatively deliver electromechanical hardware in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Demonstrated te
