The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, specialising in design principles & processes including, sheetmetal, turned/milled, injection moulded, cast and extruded parts. This is a senior role that will be able to lead projects as well as develop and mentor more junior members of the team.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559685":180,"335559740":259}"> </span></p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="none">Key Responsibilities</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559685":180,"335559740":259}"> </span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Primary role is enclosure design using various design principles & processes including, sheetmetal, turned/milled, injection moulded, cast and extruded parts.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Liaise with the Hardware team on PCBA & cable design</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Generate parts on PLM system</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Liaise with suppliers to get custom parts built</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Spec off-the-shelf components & source for prototype build</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Product prototype assembly or disassembly, including the development of build instructions and other general product development documentation</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Validate design through environmental testing in contracted test labs to applicable standards (MIL-810-H for example)</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Work through the protot
