Apex is hiring a Sr Principal Engineer to be based in Richland or Walla Walla, WA. This position will play a critical role in growing our Apex local presence and delivering multidiscipline projects throughout the state of Washington with our well-established engineering teams. This position will have a focused emphasis with state and local agencies in Eastern Washington with anticipated collaboration with our other local regional offices in Issaquah, Vancouver, Wenatchee, Walla Walla, Richland, and Boise. This individual will collaborate with our staff to lead business development strategies and support successful delivery of multidisciplinary engineering teams across our existing Washington State offices. Our Apex offices have a significant historical presence within the communities we serve, averaging more than 20 years of local relationships with our agency and private development clients. You will be partnering with our local staff to leverage both your current and our Apex existing clients’ histories to support both marketing and project delivery goals while providing you well established turnkey relationships in support of your efforts. Typical projects include major roadway corridors, signalized intersections, roundabouts, bridges, multimodal facilities, ADA improvements, complete streets, and other multidisciplinary infrastructure improvements. These complex projects often involve state and federal funding to deliver roadway design, stormwater system design, utility coordination and design, traffic analysis and design, structure design, and construction management.&
