We welcome candidates from the Bismarck, ND area and beyond to apply. </p> <p>Employees working in Beulah, ND have a short commute from Hazen, Zap, Golden Valley, Pick City, Dodge, Stanton, Center, Halliday, Garrison, Hebron, New Salem, Richardton, Turtle Lake, and Washburn and will enjoy professional growth and community engagement through our regional presence in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota and South Dakota.</p> <p>As an <strong>Electrical Engineer</strong>, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Develop scopes of work and complete electrical engineering research; design packages, cost estimates, specifications, and project schedules</li> <li>Evaluate feasibility, design, test, and implement electrical, instrumentation, and control system projects to enhance plant performance</li> <li>Troubleshoot and analyze electrical, instrumentation, and control system issues and recommend practical corrective actions</li> <li>Support equipment specification, standardization, and spare‑parts optimization through inventory review and BOM updates</li> <li>Participate in equipment checkout, acceptance testing, and commissioning for new electrical and control installations</li> <li>Create accurate as‑built documentation for electrical, instrumentation, and control system modifications</li> <li>Provide technical input for electrical and instrumentation procedures, standards, reliability initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts</li> <li>Partner with Operations, Planning, and Maintenance teams to support repairs, replacements, upgrades, and system improvements</li> <li>Maintain an organized work area and ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and industry standards</li> <li>Work collaboratively with suppliers and Applied partners</li> <li>Contribute to projects that impact communities in Hazen, Zap, Golden Valley, Pick City, Dodge, Stanton, Center, Halliday, Garrison, Hebron, New Salem, Richardton, Turtle Lake, and Washburn and the greater Bismarck, ND area</li> <li>Apply your skills in a dynamic environment that values ownership and innovation</li> </ul> <h4><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></span></h4> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering </li> <li>Knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and control concepts; engineering analysis and design techniques; and troubleshooting/problem‑solving skills</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret electrical, instrument, and control diagrams</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications</li> <li>Valid driver’s license required</li> <li>Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs, working at heights up to 150 feet, and using required safety equipment such as respirators and full‑face Scott Air Paks</li> <li>Ability to analyze data, conduct research, implement recommendations, and work under time constraints</li> <li>Willingness to travel for vendor meetings and training</li> <li>Capable of working independently and as a team member</li> <li>Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity</li> <li>Excellen
