Endless possibilities.</p></div><p><strong>THE ROLE:</strong></p> <p>As Senior Revenue Accountant, you will play a key role in executing and supporting the end-to-end revenue recognition process in compliance with IFRS 15. You will ensure accurate revenue reporting, support the accounts receivable function, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive financial accuracy and operational efficiency.</p> <h4><strong>YOU WILL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO:</strong></h4> <ul> <li><strong>Revenue Recognition & Compliance</strong>: Execute and support the revenue recognition process in accordance with IFRS 15 and internal policy, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded and compliant with accounting standards.</li> <li><strong>Reporting & Analysis</strong>: Analyze and reconcile key revenue accounts on a monthly basis; prepare reports and variance analysis to support management and senior stakeholders.</li> <li><strong>Month-End Close</strong>: Prepare and process month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations for billing and revenue accounts, meeting established deadlines.</li> <li><strong>Team Leadership</strong>: Act as a resource and subject matter expert for junior team members, sharing technical knowledge and providing guidance on revenue accounting and AR processes.</li> <li><strong>Audit & Controls</strong>: Assist with external year-end audits by preparing audit schedules and supporting documentation, and help maintain internal controls over revenue transactions.</li> <li><strong>Process Improvements</strong>: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the revenue and AR functions, and contribute to the implementation of enhancements that improve accuracy and efficiency.</li> <li><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration</strong>: Collaborate with teams outside of finance, including project delivery and operations, to gather information needed for accurate revenue accounting and resolve revenue-related queries.</li> <li>Represent the finance team on company-wide projects including system implementations, new initiatives, and ad hoc assignments.</li> <li>Contribute across the broader accounting function as needed, including AP, GL, and FP&A.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>WHO YOU ARE:</strong></h4> <ul> <li>CPA designation (or actively pursuing) with 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a revenue accounting or related role.</li> <li>Strong expertise in accounting and financial principles and governance (GAAP, IFRS).</li> <li>Deep knowledge and understanding of IFRS 15 - Revenue from Contracts with Customers.</li> <li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and contribute effectively within a collaborative team environment.</li> <li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.</li> <li>Experience in Certinia is an asset.</li> <li>Proficient in Excel.</li> </ul> <p><strong>WHAT APPNOVATION HAS TO OFFER</strong></p> <ul> <li>Challengi
