You'll thrive here if you move fast, take ownership, and care about the details.</p> <p>This is a full-time, on-site role at our Los Angeles headquarters, with up to 75% travel. You'll report to the Commercial Build Engineer and work closely with a lean, high-trust team where everyone’s work matters.</p> <h2>What you'll do</h2> <ul> <li>Assembling and integrating electrical and mechanical systems</li> <li>Building and routing wire harnesses, including fiber optic cable assemblies where applicable</li> <li>Installing and terminating electrical components and communication interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, Modbus, etc.)</li> <li>Diagnosing electrical issues in 1000V DC and 480V AC systems</li> <li>Assembling pneumatic and hydraulic systems</li> <li>Assembling cooling systems</li> <li>Supporting development builds and prototype systems</li> <li>Supporting sea trials, deployments, and customer-facing technical operations</li> <li>Performing root-cause troubleshooting with the ability to provide efficient resolutions</li> </ul> <h2>Minimum Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>4+ years of experience working with high-voltage systems (EV, industrial, marine, or similar)</li> <li>Familiarity with electrical communication systems (CAN, Modbus, Ethernet, or similar)</li> <li>Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, system diagrams, and mechanical drawings</li> <li>Experience using standard electrical diagnostic tools (multimeters, etc.) to verify system functionality</li> <li>Experience building processes from the inception to execution to include work instruction documentation</li> <li>Up to 75% travel (local + occasional remote), including dockside and on-water work environments</li> <li>Able to stand 6–10 hours per day and lift up to 50 lbs</li> <li>Able to board and work in, around and on water vessels</li> <li>This position may require access to export-controlled information.
