ALH operates state-of-the-art facilities and programs to meet the evolving needs of clinical research and overall patient treatment.</p> <p> </p></div><p><strong>Title: </strong>Facilities Technician</p> <p><strong>Status: </strong>Full-time, Exempt</p> <p><strong>Salary: </strong>$50,000 - $65,000 annually, depending on experience</p> <p><strong>Location: </strong>Chandler, AZ</p> <hr> <p><strong>Essential job functions/duties</strong></p> <p><em>Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.</em></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with the Facilities Managers, who assign, prioritize, and review work.</li> <li>Provide regular updates to Facilities Managers and escalate issues as needed.</li> <li>Respond to emergent facilities issues, triage accordingly, and resolve in a timely manner, including escalation to trusted vendors when necessary.</li> <li>Perform hands on repairs including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building upkeep.</li> <li>Plan and coordinate installations, maintenance, and service with trusted vendors.</li> <li>Support building maintenance for Arizona Liver Health, Arizona State Urological Institute, and other related entities.</li> <li>Support vehicle fleet management, including routine maintenance, registration, etc.</li> <li>Provide support to Operations management including hanging installation of various office and interior components, assembly of furniture, and other related requests.</li> <li>Support routine inspections of buildings to ensure smooth operations and identify potential issues.</li> <li>Perform proactive preventative maintenance of facility systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and others to reduce stress on systems and improve longevity.</li> <li>Document processes and keep maintenance records. Provide periodic detailed reports to Operations management regarding work completed and in process.</li> <li>Collaborate with team to ensure building security and function of security services.</li> <li>Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and building systems.</li> <li>Assist with Vendor acquisition/scheduling.</li> <li>Organize/manage multiple inventories: tools, materials, etc.</li> <li>Share the on-call afterhours responsibilities with Facilities Team.</li> <li>Must be willing to do the “dirty jobs” with a great attitude.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required</strong></p> <ul> <li>Reliable and professional individual with a high ethical code and moral conduct.</li> <li>At least three (3) years of experience in facility and/or building maintenance.</li> <li>Preferred one (1) year of apartment maintenance.</li> <li>General handyman, electrical, plumbing, janitorial, HVAC, vehicle, and building maintenance knowledge is required.</li> <li>Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.</li> <li>Positive attitude with a high aptitude to learn.</li> <li>Strong trou
