ALH operates state-of-the-art facilities and programs to meet the evolving needs of clinical research and overall patient treatment.</p> <p> </p></div><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p> <p>Arizona Clinical Trials is searching for qualified candidates for the Phase 1 Research APP position in Chandler, AZ. Successful candidates are currently licensed Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs) who have previous experience in clinical research and gastroenterology (GI) and/or hepatology with a high understanding of research protocol and what it means to be a sub investigator for a clinical trial. The Research APP plays a crucial role in driving and expanding the organization's ability to provide innovative patient care for those affected by liver disease.</p> <hr> <p><strong>Title: </strong>Phase 1<strong> </strong>Research Advanced Practice Provider</p> <p><strong>Status: </strong>Full-time, Exempt</p> <p><strong>Salary:</strong> $110,000 - $150,000 per year; depending on experience </p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Chandler, AZ </p> <p><strong>Schedule: </strong>Four 10-hour shifts per week (4/10s); Monday - Thursday</p> <p><strong>Reports to:</strong> VP of Research</p> <hr> <p><strong>Essential job functions/duties</strong></p> <p><em>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.</em></p> <ul> <li>Responsible for performing patient evaluations, consults, and review of pretreatment for standard of care patients as well clinical research patients.</li> <li>Educating patients on therapeutic options through available liver clinical trials onsite.</li> <li>Performs specialized procedure(s) and works with MD on patient diagnosis.</li> <li>Counseling patients and their families, as well as collaborating with appropriate physicians to provide other appropriate direct care interventions within the scope of practice for physician's assistants or nurse practitioners.</li> <li>Primary point of contact and assumes responsibilities for managing the care for patients.</li> <li>Oversee patient care in clinical trials and perform safety medical reviews.</li> <li>Work with various research staff members such as clinical research coordinators and research recruiters to complete visits and submit accurate source documentation.</li> <li>Completes detailed review of documentation for studies, charting, and proper informed consents.</li> <li>Communicate with research team members regarding studies and fully understand the protocols.</li> <li>Takes study and a patient from first visit to closeout.</li> </ul> <hr> <p><strong>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must have previous experience in clinical research with a high level of understanding of research processes and protocols.</li> <li>Proficient in use of Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneDrive as well as practice’s EMR system (eC
