Astranis designs, builds, and operates its satellites out of its 153,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Northern California, USA.</p></div><p><strong>Supplier Quality Engineer Associate (Winter 2027)</strong></p> <p>Associate positions typically last for twelve weeks, and are salaried roles designed for students who have already received a bachelor's degree (or who will have done so before working at Astranis).</p> <p>The Supplier Quality Engineering Associate will work on solving quality issues with suppliers, implement new processes and support the daily operations of the team.</p> <p>If you are still a college student, please apply to join us as an Intern.</p> <p><strong>Role</strong></p> <ul> <li style="line-height: 1;">Drive failure mode and root cause analyses, and implementation of corrective actions. </li> <li>Design quality requirements and specifications.</li> <li>Outline inspection and testing plans, and define re-processing and repair methods.</li> <li>Monitor suppliers' performance and purchased parts' status, and communicate status to management.</li> <li>Support manufacturing process development at supplier sites.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or a similar discipline </li> <li>Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex problems</li> <li>Strong communication skills</li> <li>Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously</li> <li>Don't meet them all?
