Our engineers and space scientists are on a mission to eliminate the connectivity gaps faced by today’s five billion mobile subscribers and finally bring broadband to the billions who remain unconnected.</p></div><p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a self-motivated, results-oriented Senior IT Engineer to join our global team supporting and advancing our corporate computing environment. This role involves working with innovative technologies in a fast-paced, growth-oriented company. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, professional, and passionate about helping others while ensuring the reliability and performance of IT systems across the organization.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide support for end users across workstations, servers, and mobile device platforms (hardware and software).</li> <li>Support engineering applications running on Ubuntu, RHEL/CentOS 7, and Windows 10.</li> <li>Prepare, deploy, and ship new hardware to remote sites and end users.</li> <li>Deploy and maintain on-premises hardware including routers, switches, servers, workstations, monitors, and printers.</li> <li>Manage user accounts in on-premises Active Directory and cloud-based identity providers (e.g., Entra ID, LastPass/1Password).</li> <li>Perform software installations, patches, and upgrades to maintain system security and integrity.</li> <li>Troubleshoot and diagnose system issues across hardware and software layers.</li> <li>Create and maintain systems documentation for repeatability and compliance.</li> <li>Escalate complex issues to subject matter experts when necessary.</li> <li>Perform other related duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p><strong>Education:</strong></p> <p>Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related technical field preferred</p> <p><strong>Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience with Windows desktop support.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience with hardware maintenance tasks such as racking servers, switches, deploying workstations, setting up printers, etc. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Good working knowledge of networking fundamentals such as the OSI model, TCP/IP stack, communication protocols, firewalls, routing, etc. </li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bilingual in English and Spanish.</li> <li>IT related certification from Red Hat, Microsoft, CompTIA, VMWare, etc.</li> <li>2+ years of experience with Linux desktop support, preferably Ubuntu and RHEL/CentOS 7+.</li> <li>Experience with virtualization products such as Hyper-V or VMWare.</li> <li>Experience with cloud Infrastructure as a Service such as AWS or Azure.</li> <li>Experience with Cisco Meraki network infrastructure.</li> <li>Experience with macOS, iOS, and Android devices.</li> <li>Scripting and automation experience.</li> <li>Experience with Dell iDRAC.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Soft Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Proven ability to collaborate effectivel
