This role is responsible for day-to-day dredge production, personnel leadership, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement across two high-throughput dredges, each capable of producing up to 1,500 tons per hour.</p> <p>This is a high-impact opportunity to build systems, standards, and processes from the ground up in a growing dredge operation. Success in this role is measured by safe production, dredge availability, tons moved, and disciplined execution of mine plans.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Target zero health, safety, and environmental incidents and set the standard for safe dredge operations</li> <li>Own day-to-day dredge operations across assigned sites, including production, staffing, and equipment performance</li> <li>Lead and develop dredge operators, supervisors, and support personnel</li> <li>Plan, coordinate, and manage dredge staffing schedules to support production targets</li> <li>Execute mine plans, monitor inventory levels, and adjust production forecasts as needed</li> <li>Schedule and coordinate planned maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime</li> <li>Own dredge reliability performance, including availability tracking, failure analysis, and improvement initiatives</li> <li>Partner with Maintenance, Operations, and Plant Management to drive data-driven decisions</li> <li>Lead CMMS development and continuous improvement for dredge maintenance and operations</li> <li>Manage and track budgets related to dredge operations and improvement projects</li> <li>Lead dredge-related projects, ensuring schedules, costs, risks, and technical objectives are met</li> <li>Ensure all operations and projects comply with OSHA, MSHA, and applicable regulatory requirements</li> <li>Participate in vendor and contractor selection, negotiations, and performance management</li> <li>Oversee engineering designs related to dredge systems, pumps, pipelines, and supporting infrastructure</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p><strong>Success in This Role Is Measured By</strong></p> <ul> <li>Dredge availability and uptime</li> <li>Tons per hour and production targets</li> <li>Planned vs. unplanned downtime</li> <li>Safety performance and regulatory compliance</li> <li>Execution of mine plans and production forecasts</li> <li>Reliability improvements and cost control</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong technical and leadership experience in dredge mining, mining operations, or heavy industrial environments</li> <li>Sol
