With a focus on leveraging technology, automation, and remote operations to enhance efficiencies, Atlas is centered around a core mission of improving human beings’ access to hydrocarbons that power our lives and, by doing so, maximizing value creation for our shareholders.</p> <p><strong>How You Will Make an Impact:</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician / Technical Specialist with a broad range of technical expertise—from interpreting electrical diagrams and troubleshooting equipment to building control cabinets and leading small projects. This is a dynamic role where you’ll handle everything from basic installations to advanced system builds while maintaining rigorous safety standards and effective communication with team members and external contractors.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Technical Proficiency: <ul> <li>Read and interpret electrical and electronic diagrams.</li> <li>Understand basic network topology and control panel layout.</li> <li>Use hand and power tools safely and complete required safety forms consistently.</li> <li>Operate frac equipment and use diagnostic tools such as multimeters.</li> <li>Mount sensors with minimal supervision.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Troubleshooting & Configuration: <ul> <li>Troubleshoot magnetic induction sensors and VFD operations independently.</li> <li>Conduct equipment inspections and resolve issues with PLC I/O, breakers, contactors, and relays.</li> <li>Identify and diagnose control software issues.</li> <li>Change and assign IP addresses to devices.</li> <li>Configure Mesh antennas and set up/troubleshoot point-to-point antennas.</li> <li>Set up HMIs with correct job and well details.</li> <li>Access and diagnose issues in remote locations.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Systems Building & Leadership: <ul> <li>Build and install full control cabinets, including 480VAC distribution cabinets and VFD Cabinets, without supervision.</li> <li>Oversee small group projects while assisting fellow technicians with remote troubleshooting and solution recommendations.</li> <li>Communicate and coordinate effectively with third-party contractors and external stakeholders.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience in reading technical diagrams, troubleshooting sensor and control systems, and performing installations in industrial environments.</li> <li>Strong safety orientation and adherence to established protocols.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers, team members, and external vendors.</li> <li>Proven ability to work independently, manage projects, and lead small teams when required.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You’ll Love About Us</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Best People and Team. <a href="https://www.greatplacetowork.com/certified-company/7007285#%3A~%3Atext%3DCompany%20Culture%20at%20Atlas%20Sand%26text%3D82%25%20of%20employees%20at%20Atlas%2Ca%20typical%20U.S.%2Dbased%20company.%26text%3DSource%3A%20Great%20Place%20to%20Work%C2%AE%202021%20Global%20Employee%20Engagement%20Study.%26text%3DWhen%20you%20join%20the%20company%2C%20you%20are%20made%20to%20feel%20
