Typical duties include reviewing blueprints, cutting metal into the appropriate shape and smoothing molten metal to remove creases.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Typical Responsibilities:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Reads, assembles, and welds from blueprints.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Prepares, assembles, and tacks weld parts and surfaces to be welded.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Position and clamp work pieces together or assemble them in a jig fixture.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Weld in flat and vertical planes (all position welding).
