This position involves frequent contact with government clients to assist with the day-to-day engineering operations of local agencies. </span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Accountability and Duties:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Performs professional engineering and design work for government clients.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Prepares reports, plans, specifications, construction schedules and permits for transportation, water/wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Obtains and evaluates pertinent field data for proposed construction projects.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Prepares engineer’s opinion of probable cost and engineering design calculations.</span></li> <li
