The responsibilities of the O&G Party Chief include performing the assigned survey tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner that results in consistently thorough and accurate survey data. Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Perform topographic surveys, mapping surveys, boundary surveys, route surveys (including pipelines and transmission lines), construction staking, and as-built surveys.</li> <li>Utilize and maintain surveying equipment, including total stations, automatic levels, Trimble RTK systems, data collectors, and other specialized tools.</li> <li>Lead and oversee survey party members, evaluate survey progress, and ensure surveys adhere to company procedures.</li> <li>Responsible for maintaining work-issued vehicles, laptops, and survey equipment.</li> <li>Maintain detailed and organized field notes, create field sketches, draw isometric drawings, and capture site photographs in accordance with our standard procedures.</li> <li>Ensure all surveying equipment is in optimal working condition, with timely calibration and adjustments as needed.</li> <li>Collect and document survey data accurately, thoroughly, and comprehensively using assigned survey equipment.</li> <li>Download data, record notes, sketches, pictures, and more at the end of each workday.
