Senior Transport Manager (m/f/d)

<p>At AutoProff, we're looking for a new colleague to help manage and develop our supplier and transport network across Europe. This is a hands-on role with a mix of operational and commercial responsibilities, where you'll work closely with suppliers and colleagues across the business to ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.</p> <p><strong>About the role</strong></p> <p>As our new Senior Transport Manager, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, monitoring operational performance, and ensuring our supplier and transport network supports our business across Europe.</p> <p>You'll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure reliable supplier performance, support day-to-day operations, and identify opportunities to improve the way we work. While you'll be involved in supplier and transport contracts, you'll collaborate closely with <strong>AutoScout24's Procurement team</strong><strong>,</strong> who lead the commercial negotiations and sourcing activities, ensuring a consistent procurement approach across the group.</p> <p>The position can be based at our headquarters in <strong>Vejle, Denmark</strong>, or at our office in <strong>Düsseldorf, Germany</strong>.</p> <p><strong>Let's dive into your key responsibilities, you will</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage the daily collaboration with suppliers</li> <li>Monitor supplier performance and service level agreements (SLAs).</li> <li>Follow up on delayed orders and resolve operational issues together with suppliers.</li> <li>Coordinate transport vendors to ensure efficient logistics operations.</li> <li>Implement and maintain suppliers</li> <li>Maintain supplier rebate and kickback agreements.</li> <li>Approve supplier invoices in Coupa.</li> <li>Support claims and handle supplier escalations.</li> <li>Ensure suppliers comply with contractual agreements and internal processes.</li> <li>Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs.</li> <li>Maintain supplier data, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting.</li> <li>Work closely with Procurement, Operations, Finance, Customer Support, and other internal stakeholders.</li> </ul> <p><strong>The need-to-have skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Several years of experience in Supplier Management, Procurement, Logistics, Transport Management, or a similar role.</li> <li>Experience working with transport providers and logistics operations.</li> <li>Experience managing supplier performance and service level agreements.</li> <li>Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to support decisions.</li> <li>Experience working with ERP or procurement systems (experience with Coupa is an advantage).</li> <li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.</li> <li>Ability to manage several tasks and priorities at the same time.</li> <li>Professional proficiency in English and German or Danish</li> </ul> <p><strong>The nice-to-have skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience from an international technology, marketplace, automotive, or e-commerce company.</li> <li>Experience with transport sourcing and freight procurement.</li> <li>Experience handling supplier claims and disputes.</li> <li>Experience working with dashboards and KPI reporting.</li> </ul> <p><strong>You will thrive in this role if you</strong></p> <ul> <li>Enjoy working with both operational tasks and commercial discussions.</li> <li>Build good working relationships
